NJPW making Washington DC debut with Capital Collision event

NJPW has announced their Washington DC debut show.
Capital Collision is set for Saturday, May 14, with a major talent lineup that includes Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, plus AEW’s Jon Moxley.
The event is scheduled while the Best of the Super Juniors tour will be taking place in Japan, so the company’s top heavyweight talent was available for shows in the US. While not explicitly stated, it appears that the event will be a pay-per-view, rather than an NJPW Strong taping.
Tomohiro Ishii, Minoru Suzuki, Will Ospreay, Jay White, and NJPW Strong Openweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor have also been announced for the show.
No matches have been announced as of yet.
Tickets for the show at the Entertainment & Sports Arena will go on sale Monday, April 4 at 12 p.m. Eastern time. Ticket prices will range from $25 to $299.
Here is the announced lineup:
- Kazuchika Okada
- Hiroshi Tanahashi
- Jon Moxley
- Jay White
- Will Ospreay
- Minoru Suzuki
- Tomohiro Ishii
- Jeff Cobb
- Tom Lawlor
- Fred Rosser
