NJPW announces upcoming major event schedule

With the promotion’s first slate of 2025 events now over, NJPW is looking ahead to its upcoming schedule.
NJPW has unveiled its major event schedule from now through the summer. Included in the announcement is some information about this year’s G1 Climax tournament. On July 19-20, the G1 Climax will begin with its opening weekend being held in Sapporo. The final two dates of the tournament will be at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on August 16-17. The rest of the tournament schedule has not been revealed yet.
The announced dates also include NJPW returning to Chicago on April 11 for Windy City Riot and Ontario, California on May 9 for Resurgence.

- Thursday, March 6: NJPW 53rd Anniversary Show at Ota-ku Gymnasium
- Thursday, March 20: New Japan Cup final at Ao-re Nagaoka
- Saturday, April 5: Ryogoku Sumo Hall
- Friday, April 11: Windy City Riot at Wintrust Arena in Chicago
- Saturday, April 26: Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall
- Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4: Fukuoka International Center
- Friday, May 9: Resurgence at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California
- Sunday, June 1: Best of the Super Juniors 32 finals at Ota-ku Gymnasium
- Sunday, June 15: Osaka Jo Hall
- Sunday, June 29: Dolphin’s Arena, Nagoya
- Friday, July 4: Tokyo Budokan
- Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20: G1 Climax 35 opening weekend at Hokkai Kita-Yell
- Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17: G1 Climax 35 finals at Ariake Arena
- Sunday, August 24: AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door London
- Mid September: Hokkaido Tour
NJPW began 2025 with Wrestle Kingdom 19, Wrestle Dynasty, and New Year Dash taking place over a three-day period. The promotion was then in San Jose, California this past weekend for Battle in the Valley. Full results from that show can be seen here.
