NJPW announces two title matches for ‘Junior Genesis’

NJPW has announced “Junior Genesis” for the night before Sakura Genesis.

On Friday, April 4, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight and Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships will both be defended at Korakuen Hall. El Desperado will put his title on the line against Clark Connors in a hardcore match, while TMDK’s Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles defend the tag belts against Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X.

Sakura Genesis is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at Ryogoku Sumo Hall. The winner of the March 15 Hirooki Goto vs. Yuji Nagata title match will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against the 2025 New Japan Cup winner.
