Jon Moxley added to NJPW Resurgence lineup
Jon Moxley has been added to the card for NJPW Resurgence.
NJPW announced Sunday that Moxley will take part in the event set for Sunday, May 21 at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, airing on NJPW World pay-per-view.
No opponent has been announced for Moxley to this point.
Moxley last wrestled for NJPW at The Night Before Rumble on 44th Street: A Halloween Special in October 2022, teaming with Kazuchika Okada, YOH, Amazing Red, Eddie Kingston, and Homicide in a 12-man tag against Jay White, Juice Robinson, El Phantasmo, Tom Lawlor, Jorel Nelson, and Royce Isaacs.
Already set for Resurgence is an IWGP US title number one contender’s tournament bout with Will Ospreay taking on Hiroshi Tanahashi, plus a one-night tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Champion featuring Mercedes Mone, Willow Nightingale, Stephanie Vaquer, and Momo Kohgo.
