Four wrestlers advance to third round of New Japan Cup


Four more wrestlers have advanced to the next round of the New Japan Cup.
At Thursday’s event in Yamanashi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jeff Cobb, Tetsuya Naito, and YOSHI-HASHI won matches to move on to the third round of the tournament. Here are full results from the show:
– New Japan Cup second-round match: Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Bad Luck Fale
– New Japan Cup second-round match: Jeff Cobb defeated Satoshi Kojima
– New Japan Cup second-round match: Tetsuya Naito defeated Gedo
– New Japan Cup second-round match: YOSHI-HASHI defeated Kosei Fujita
– Will Ospreay, The Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare defeated Shingo Takagi, SANADA & BUSHI
– Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto & YOH defeated EVIL, Dick Togo & SHO
– Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi & DOUKI defeated Tomoaki Honma, Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato
Tanahashi vs. Naito and Cobb vs. YOSHI-HASHI will take place in the third round of the New Japan Cup.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Taichi and Hirooki Goto vs. CIMA have also already been confirmed for the next round of the tournament.
The second round of the tournament will finish up with two shows this weekend. The remaining tournament matches for the round are:
