Will Ospreay to make MLW debut in December

Will Ospreay is scheduled to make his MLW debut in December.

Per an announcement on Wednesday’s MLW: Fusion Alpha, Ospreay will appear for the company in December when MLW returns to New York City to host an event in the Melrose Ballroom. No date was given for the event, but it will be the first time the promotion has hosted an event in NYC since December 2019. No opponent was named for Ospreay’s debut.

On last week’s Fightland special on Vice TV, it was announced that Ospreay was coming to MLW. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion has never appeared for the company before. Ospreay has made appearances for New Japan Strong since August, and is set for their Autumn Attack show on October 16.

Two MLW championships changed hands on last week’s show. Tajiri won the MLW Middleweight Championship in a four way match, while MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone bested MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu in a title vs. title match.
