CMLL’s Raziel passes away at 49 years old


Raziel, a long time wrestler for CMLL, has passed away.
The company announced tonight that Raziel, 49, had passed away. No other details were given. He had suffered an injury back in November, though it is currently unknown if that is related to his passing. He is currently one third of the Mexican National Trios Champions along with Cancerbero and Virus.

Raziel trained under Skayade and Brazo Cibernetico and debuted in 1996, at first working in AAA. In 2005, he began working for CMLL, first under the name Caligula, working as a tag team with Messala, both working under a Roman soldier gimmick. In 2009, the team joined a new stable called Los Cancerberos del Infierno along with Virus. It was here that Raziel started to work under that name, with Messala working under the name Cancerbero. In April of last year, they along with Virus also won the CMLL World Trios Championship,
