Jim Ross hurts face in fall, still attending OU game

Jim Ross is recovering following a bad fall at a friends house. However, it won’t stop him from attending tonight’s Oklahoma University game.
Ross posted a graphic picture on Twitter, sporting a huge black eye and numerous cuts and bruises on his face.
“Took a bad bump last night. The concrete went over,” Ross wrote on Twitter this morning. “Still going to @OU_Football tonight. #BoomerSooner.”
Dave Meltzer went into further details on Twitter, saying that Ross had suffered a bad fall at a friend’s house after taking a missed step.
Jim Ross finished the rest of his voiceover work for AXS TV’s New Japan Pro Wrestling television show this week with Josh Barnett that will take the show through the end of the year. His contract ends around that time. According to last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he won’t be able to do any other commitments until his WWE contract expires in March.
The Oklahoma Sooners will take on the Kansas Jayhawks tonight at the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
