Katsuhiko Nakajima to leave NOAH in October

Katsuhiko Nakajima, one of the top stars of Pro Wrestling NOAH, is leaving the company.

NOAH announced Nakajima’s departure on Monday night in a press release. His final match in the company will be in October.

“We would like to announce that Katsuhiko Nakajima, a member of Pro Wrestling NOAH, will terminate his contract with the company at the end of September,” the statement says. “Katsuhiko Nakajima will have his last NOAH match on October 20 (Fri.) at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and October 28 (Sat.) at Fukuoka International Center in Fukuoka.”

Nakajima’s last match at Korakuen Hall for NOAH will have him team with Go Shiozaki and Masa Kitamiya against Masaaki Mochizuki, Manabu Soya, and Daiki Inaba. His last match in the company overall on October 28 will have him team with Go Shiozaki against Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura.

Nakajima has spent most of his career in NOAH, dating back to 2005. During his time in the company, he’s held the GHC Heavyweight title on two occasions and the GHC Junior Heavyweight title three times.
