The Wrld on GCW to be available via traditional pay-per-view providers


One of Game Changer Wrestling’s most high-profile shows in company history is coming to traditional pay-per-view — at least for one night.
GCW announced Wednesday that Sunday, January 23rd’s The Wrld on GCW will be available through traditional cable PPV providers in addition to FITE.tv.
The show will emanate from the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City starting at 8 PM Eastern. More than 2000 fans are expected to be in attendance.
GCW will hold their inaugural Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony the night before, inducting Dave Prazak, LuFisto, Jerry Lynn, Homicide, Ruckus and Tracy Smothers in its inaugural class.
Here’s the card as currently announced:
– ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Blake Christian title match
– Ruby Soho vs. Allie Katch
– Team Bandido (Bandido, ASF, Laredo Kid) vs. Team Gringo (Gringo Loco, Arez, Demonic Flamita)
Eddie Kingston will also be appearing at his first GCW show since November 2019. His opponent has yet to be announced.
