PWG reveals lineup for It’s a Long Way to the Top event

PWG has revealed the lineup for their Sunday, November 21 It’s a Long Way to the top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll) event at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles.

Bandido will defend the PWG World Championship against Alex Shelley. Shelley earned the title shot with a win over Jonathan Gresham at September’s Threemendous VI event. Bandido has held the World title since defeating Jeff Cobb at The Makings of a Varsity Athlete in December 2019.

The PWG World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Malakai Black and Brody King defend the titles against JD Drake and the debuting Anthony Henry. Black and King won the Tag titles at Threemendous VI.

Lio Rush will make his PWG return in a singles match against Davey Richards. Rush last appeared in PWG in July 2017. Richards challenged Bandido for the PWG title at Threemendous VI.

Aramis and Rey Horus will team against Jack Cartwheel and Alex Zayne.

Daniel Garcia will make his PWG debut in a singles match against Jonathan Gresham. Garcia signing a full-time deal with AEW was announced earlier this week.

Demonic Flamita will take on Dragon Lee. Lee defeated Aramis in September, while Flamita and Black Taurus faced Black and King for the vacant PWG Tag titles at Threemendous VI.

Also announced, Tony Deppen will take on Lee Moriarty.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Thursday, October 28 at 11 p.m. Eastern time.
