Indi Hartwell announced for first post-WWE match

Former WWE wrestler Indi Hartwell is starting to book her independent wrestling schedule.
On January 30, Hartwell officially became a free agent 90 days after being released from her WWE contract. Her first post-WWE appearance happened at WrestleCon’s convention in Indianapolis this past weekend. It’s now been announced that Hartwell will be competing for Renegades of Wrestling in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday, March 9. It’s billed as Hartwell’s first time wrestling in her hometown in six years.
An opponent for Hartwell has not been named yet.
Hartwell — a former NXT Women’s Champion — spent five years with WWE. At the time of her release, she was on the SmackDown roster. Nixon Newell (the former Tegan Nox) is also now a free agent after being released by WWE on the same day as Hartwell.
In a recent YouTube vlog, Hartwell said entering free agency is both exciting and scary because she does not know what the future holds. Hartwell affirmed that she plans to continue wrestling.
“I have been getting a lot of tweets and comments and people in real life asking me if I’m going to continue wrestling,” Hartwell said. “And it was something that I really had to think about when I got released. But, come on. I’m only 28. I’m only 28, I have got so much wrestling left in me.”
