World title match set for next week’s TNA Impact
Nic Nemeth will defend the TNA World Championship on the Thursday, August 15 Impact episode.
Nemeth defending his title against Josh Alexander was officially announced for next week’s Impact during this Thursday’s episode after a confrontation between champion and challenger.
Alexander called Nemeth out and challenged him to a title match, Nemeth hit Alexander with a superkick and accepted the challenge, and authority figure Santino Marella made the match official for next week.
A singles match between Moose and Mike Santana is also set for the August 15 Impact. The match stems from a promo segment on this week’s show where Moose promised to treat Santana like Old Yeller.
Gisele Shaw vs. Tasha Steelz in a rematch with multiple referees assigned to the bout is also set for next week’s Impact.
Qualifying matches for the Ultimate X bout set for Emergence will also continue on next week’s episode. Mike Bailey & Zachary Wentz became the first two qualifiers for that bout on this week’s Impact.
