Two WWE NXT vs. TNA matches set for next week’s Impact
Five matches are official for the Thursday, March 27 TNA Impact, including two bouts with WWE NXT talent facing TNA stars.
WWE NXT’s Jacy Jayne attacked TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich on Thursday’s Impact, interrupting a promo battle between Slamovich and Tessa Blanchard. In the aftermath, Santino Marella announced Slamovich vs. Jayne for next week’s show, with Blanchard banned from ringside.
Four more WWE NXT stars invaded Thursday’s Impact, with the Meta Girls (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson), and the duo of Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin crashing the Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance Knockouts Tag Team title celebration. Former Knockouts Tag title holders Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) also interrupted. A match was made for next week with Ash and Heather facing Paxley and Dolin with Spitfire and Meta Girls banned from ringside.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. will team with Laredo Kid and AAA’s Octagon Jr. against Frankie Kazarian, AJ Francis, and KC Navarro in another new match made for next week.
Nic Nemeth also goes one-on-one with Leon Slater next week, plus Ace Austin takes on Eric Young.
