Two more matches set for Impact United We Stand

Impact Wrestling has added two matches and revealed three Ultimate X participants for their WrestleMania week show.

Team Impact (World Champion Johnny Impact, Brian Cage, Moose & Eddie Edwards) will face Team Lucha Underground (Aerostar, Drago, King Cuerno & Daga) at United We Stand, which is taking place at the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey at 11 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, April 4.

Impact has also announced Tessa Blanchard vs. Eli Drake in an intergender match for United We Stand. Drake responded to a fan on Twitter after the match was announced: “I have amazing respect for @IMPACTWRESTLING and @Tess_Blanchard and can see that she is likely the greatest female talent in wrestling today. Although that said, I will not participate in a one on one intergender match.”

Three wrestlers have been confirmed for the Ultimate X match that’s taking place at United We Stand. Jake Crist will represent Impact, Kotto Brazil is representing MLW, and Jack Evans is representing AAA. More participants will be announced in the coming weeks, and the winner will get a shot at the X Division title.

The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu and Sami Callihan vs. Jimmy Havoc in a Monster’s Ball match are also set for United We Stand. After it was initially announced as a Twitch show, Impact has noted that United We Stand will “air as a live pay-per-view event exclusively on FITE.tv.”
