TNA signs Brazilian television deal

TNA just announced today that they will have television coverage in Brazil for the first time in company history.

TNA inked a deal with Esporte Interativo, a free-to-air sports channel owned by Turner Broadcasting. Impact will air on the station on Sunday’s at 10 p.m. and Xplosion will air on Mondays at 7:45 p.m.  Both shows will be repeated several times per week.  The station will also air all PPV events.  There will be a Brazilian announcing team for the channel which broadcasts in Portuguese.

TNA will be on the same station in Brazil that airs the NFL and UEFA Champions League, as well as non-UFC MMA promotions.
