The Good Brothers win Impact World Tag Team titles at Slammiversary

The Impact World Tag Team titles changed hands at tonight’s Slammiversary event.
The Good Brothers defeated The Briscoes to win the titles for a third time. Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson regained the titles after Anderson pinned Jay Briscoe following the Magic Killer.
After the match, both teams had a staredown until America’s Most Wanted’s music hit. James Storm and Chris Harris, the former six time NWA Tag Team Champions, came to the ring. Storm cut a promo praising Impact Wrestling and tag team wrestling. All three teams toasted one another as the segment ended.
The Briscoes end their run as champions after 43 days. They had defeated Violent By Design back on May 7 at Impact’s Under Siege event in Newport, Kentucky.
Other title changes that have taken place tonight include Speedball Mike Bailey winning the X Division title and the team of Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie defeating Tenille Dashwood & Madison Rayne to win the Knockouts Tag Team titles.
