Steve Maclin vs. Petey Williams added to Impact Emergence
Steve Maclin is set to collide with Petey Williams at Impact Wrestling’s Emergence on August 20th on Impact Plus.
Williams has taken issue with Maclin’s post-match assaults as of late. After going to a double countout with Trey Miguel on a recent Before The Impact, Maclin tried to beat down Miguel with a chair but Williams came to Miguel’s aid. The following week, Maclin had defeated Jah-C and looked to brutalize him with a chair, but Williams yet again made the save.
In tonight’s number one contender’s battle royal, Maclin made an example of Williams and helped Sam Beale eliminate him despite Maclin not being a participant.
Maclin is undefeated since joining Impact back in June, while Williams made a return to the company in April after a near two-year hiatus.
