‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey to make Impact debut at Hard to Kill

With another change being made to the show’s card, “Speedball” Mike Bailey will make his Impact Wrestling debut at Hard to Kill tonight.
Bailey will face Chris Bey, Ace Austin, and Laredo Kid in a four-way match on tonight’s Hard to Kill pre-show. The pre-show starts at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time and will air live on YouTube.
Jake Something was originally announced for the four-way match before being replaced by Bailey.
Tonight will be the first time Bailey, who is from Canada, has wrestled in the United States since 2016. He had been unable to wrestle in the country due to visa issues.
It was announced last October that Bailey had signed with Impact Wrestling. It was said that Bailey would be debuting for the promotion in early 2022.
Bailey told Sports Illustrated that he accepted an offer from WWE before signing with Impact Wrestling, but WWE decided to go in a different direction before he ever signed a contract with them.
The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) and Rachael Ellering were also removed from the Hard to Kill card in recent days.
Impact announced that The IInspiration were pulled from tonight’s show as a precautionary measure due to having close contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19. They were scheduled to defend their Knockouts Tag Team titles against The Influence (Madison Rayne & Tenille Dashwood) tonight.
Ellering has been replaced by Alisha Edwards in tonight’s women’s Ultimate X match.

- Impact World Champion Moose defends against Matt Cardona and W. Morrissey in a triple threat match
