ROH World title match, Josh Alexander vs. Charlie Haas set for Impact Wrestling

For the second time in January, the Ring of Honor World title will be on the line inside an Impact Wrestling ring as Jonathan Gresham will defend against Steve Maclin next Thursday in a Pure rules match.

Maclin made the challenge Thursday as Gresham was being asked about the ROH contingent that attacked Impact wrestlers during the show. Gresham said he wouldn’t have his honor questioned and that he would ask ROH management to make the match Pure rules with his title on the line. Gresham was a past ROH Pure Champion.

Next Thursday will also see former WWE star Charlie Haas make his Impact in-ring debut as he faces Josh Alexander.

Haas interrupted an Alexander promo Thursday where he was threatening to leave if he didn’t get a World title match. Alexander accepted his challenge and while the two were respectful, things broke down and they needed to be separated.

Also announced for next week: Chelsea Green vs. Tasha Steelz, and Doc Gallows & Joe Doering vs. Heath & Rhino in a continuation of their recent rivalry.
