Rachael Ellering to team with Jordynne Grace at Impact Rebellion

Rachael Ellering made her return to Impact Wrestling Thursday and will be part of Sunday’s Rebellion pay-per-view, teaming with Jordynne Grace against Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire N’ Flava in a title match.
Grace and Jazz had initially earned the title shot with a non-title win over champions Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, but Jazz was retired by Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo earlier this month. She said she would respect the stipulation and thus, Grace had to find a partner.
On Thursday, Grace was competing against Hogan when Steelz attacked her, causing a DQ. The champions then beat Grace down until Ellering came out for the save. After she and Grace ran them off, Grace said Ellering would be her partner for Sunday’s title opportunity.
The 28-year-old was part of the WWE pandemic cuts last spring. She was part of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament, teaming with Dasha Fuentes in a loss to eventual winners Diamante and Ivelisse, and later wrestled a match on Dark, losing to Penelope Ford. She hasn’t wrestled since.
She was in Impact back in 2017 for just two matches, losing to Sienna (Allysin Kay) and Laurel Van Ness (Chelsea Green).
