Minoru Suzuki in-ring debut, Knockouts title match set for Impact

A loaded slate has been announced for next Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

Following an in-ring brawl with Josh Alexander on Thursday’s show, New Japan legend Minoru Suzuki is set to make his in-ring debut for the company next week when he teams with Impact World Champion Moose and W. Morrissey to face Alexander, Matt Cardona and Eddie Edwards in six-man tag action.

The match came about after the opening segment of the show where Moose was first attacked by Eddie Edwards and then Alexander. That prompted Suzuki to hit the ring and brawl with Alexander. Later in the show, Cardona had a brawl with Moose after challenging him to a title match. Impact VP Scott D’Amore put things into motion which each man finding partners throughout the night.

Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James will have a quick turnaround following her title win at Bound For Glory as she’ll defend the title against Madison Rayne. The match was made after Rayne issued a challenge to James when she was reflecting on her championship victory Thursday.

Trey Miguel successfully defended his X-Division belt against Rocky Romero Thursday and will learn who his next challenger is next week as Rohit Raju, Steve Maclin, Laredo Kid and Black Taurus battle for a future title shot.

Announced for this Tuesday on both Impact Plus and Impact’s subscription YouTube service, Chelsea Green will take on John Skyler for a shot at Digital Media Champion Jordynne Grace.
