Miguel vs. Maclin X-Division title match set for Impact Hard to Kill

Steve Maclin’s quest to claim the Impact X-Division title will continue at January 8th’s Hard to Kill as he challenges current champion Trey Miguel.
Maclin, Miguel and El Phantasmo were in a three-way for the then-vacant belt at October’s Bound for Glory, but when Miguel won the match, he pinned ELP and not Maclin which has been a sticking point for the storyline. Maclin was unsuccessful in another three-way for the title, this time featuring Laredo Kid, at November’s Turning Point. Again, Miguel pinned Kid to win and not Maclin.
On a recent Impact on AXS, Maclin kidnapped Miguel leading to the champion demanding the match be made.
