LAX’s Santana & Ortiz bid farewell to Impact Wrestling

LAX (Santana & Ortiz) have officially bid farewell to Impact Wrestling.

After having their final match for the promotion, Santana posted a statement thanking Impact for the opportunities LAX were given:

“Last night we wrestled our final match with @impactwrestling. Our appreciation and gratitude for every single person there who had a hand in helping us get to this point, is absolutely endless. THANK YOU for the opportunity to show the world our passion and commitment to this business. And most of all, for the opportunity to represent our people and culture on a big stage. We are forever grateful. #ThankYouIMPACT”

LAX faced Impact Tag Team Champions The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) at Impact’s television tapings in Mexico City, Mexico this Thursday night. LAX then faced Rich Swann & Willie Mack on Friday’s tapings. There was a sendoff for LAX on night two.

AEW and WWE have both been interested in signing Santana & Ortiz. They held the Impact Tag Team titles four times while with the promotion.
