Laredo Kid confirms contract with Impact Wrestling

Laredo Kid confirmed in two different interviews over the past few days that he has signed a deal with Impact Wrestling.
He didn’t disclose the length of the contract, but it’s assumed to be like other Impact deals where he can work elsewhere if there are no conflicts.
Impact has yet to formally announce any deal, but usually do not for any talent.
The 35-year-old debuted for Impact back in 2017, teaming with Garza Jr. (Angel Garza in WWE) for the year. He wrestled just four matches for them in 2018 and 2019 before returning in August 2021. Since then, he has been a consistent presence on their show and has competed for the X-Division title once.
He has remained in the X-Division and took on Blake Christian and Ace Austin in a three-way on their late-January TV taping in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In addition to Impact, Kid has worked for AEW, AAA, GCW, MLW, CMLL and indies in recent years.
