Kenny Omega, Frankie Kazarian set for six-man tag match on Impact

Impact World Champion Kenny Omega will be on the opposite side from a fellow AEW wrestler and Impact/TNA alumni on next Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

Omega will unite with Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers against the returning Frankie Kazarian, Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan in next week’s main event.

On Thursday, Callihan said he didn’t want to wait for another chance at Omega and got the six-man tag team match for next week. Kazarian then made a surprise return, helping make the save for Callihan as he was being beaten down by The Elite.

Tommy Dreamer later said he would find them the perfect partner and asked a reluctant Edwards to join the team. He agreed as long as Callihan, his rival, stayed in line.

This will be Kazarian’s first match back in the company since May 2014 at the Victory Road: One Night Only pay-per-view when he was in a battle royal and also teamed with James Storm to defeat The Menagerie.

That was the only match announced for next Thursday as their Homecoming special set for Saturday on Impact Plus.
