Josh Alexander promo, Killer Kelly vs. Tasha Steelz no DQ match set for Impact
Days after another successful title defense at Bound for Glory, Impact World Champion Josh Alexander will address the fans to open Thursday’s follow-up show on AXS.
Alexander defeated Eddie Edwards last Friday to retain the title once again. He was both aided by Bully Ray against Honor No More members and then confronted by him afterward. The former WWE & ECW star won the night’s Call Your Shot gauntlet, giving him a title shot anytime, anywhere.
Killer Kelly and Tasha Steelz will do battle in a no DQ match in an attempt to settle their feud. The two tangled in the aforementioned gauntlet match with Steelz tossing her rival out. In their first meeting, Steelz defeated Kelly by DQ at Victory Road.
Matt Cardona will have his first Impact singles match since March when he faces Bhupinder Gujjar. Cardona returned in Friday’s gauntlet and was eliminated by Gujjar who has recently feuded with Cardona running mate Brian Myers.
In a six-way X-Division scramble, it will be Trey Miguel vs. Alex Zayne vs. Yuya Uemura vs. Kenny King vs. Laredo Kid vs. Black Taurus.
The BTI pre-show match will see the Motor City Machine Guns try to rally after failing in their Friday Tag Team title attempt as they face Raj Singh & Shera.
