Jordynne Grace issuing another open challenge for TNA Knockouts title

Jordynne Grace is issuing another open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
At TNA Against All Odds earlier this month, Grace retained her title against NXT wrestler Tatum Paxley. It’s now been announced that Grace will hold another open challenge at TNA Wrestling’s television taping in Philadelphia this Friday.
“Send me someone better than me,” she tweeted about the open challenge.
It remains to be seen whether the challenge will be answered by a member of the TNA roster or someone from outside the company.
Grace has held the Knockouts title since January. It’s her third reign with the championship.
Grace has played a key role in the growing relationship that exists between WWE and TNA. She appeared in the women’s Royal Rumble match this January and later had two matches for NXT, including losing to NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground. TNA wrestlers Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian have appeared for NXT as well, competing in a battle royal on the June 18 episode of the show.
TNA is holding tapings at Philly’s 2300 Arena this Friday and Saturday. Here’s what’s been announced:
Night one (Friday, June 28) —
- Jordynne Grace open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship
- Matt & Rebecca Hardy vs. Eddie & Alisha Edwards
Night two (Saturday, June 29) —
- Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers vs. Matt & Jeff Hardy
