Joe Hendry added back to House of Glory event

Update —
With TNA canceling its weekend TV tapings due to Hurricane Helene, Joe Hendry is back on House of Glory’s event in Queens this Sunday.

TNA star Joe Hendry is no longer able to appear for House of Glory Wrestling this Sunday.
Hendry was scheduled to debut for the indie promotion in a match against Joey Janela at “Believe in the Glory” in Queens, New York on September 29. But with TNA Wrestling having to adjust its weekend TV taping schedule due to Hurricane Helene, Hendry has been pulled from the House of Glory event.
“Joe Hendry regrets that due to factors entirely out of his and our control caused by Hurricane Helene, we regret to inform you he will not be appearing at HOG this Sunday, September 29th. To bring our fans the best possible wrestling experience, we will announce his replacement soon and you will not be disappointed!!!,” the promotion wrote.
“We are working to secure a new date for Hendry to appear in the very near future!”
Hendry apologized to the House of Glory fans and said he was really looking forward to being at the show. He’s hoping that it won’t be too long until he is able to debut for the promotion.
“I’m very sorry to all the fans that I won’t be able to make it,” Hendry said. “It’s just one of these super unfortunate freak incidents that no one can really do anything about.”
TNA was supposed to hold TV tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina this Friday (September 27) and Saturday (September 28). Because Hurricane Helene is scheduled to impact the area, the shows have been pushed back to Sunday (September 29) and Monday (September 30).
Jordynne Grace, Sinner and Saint (Travis Williams & Judas Icarus), and Xia Zhao (former WWE wrestler Xia Li) have also been pulled from Sunday’s Prestige Wrestling event in Portland, Oregon due to TNA having to change its taping schedule.
It was confirmed on Impact last night that Hendry will challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory on Saturday, October 26.
