Impact Wrestling viewership down slightly this week

Impact Wrestling viewership was down slightly for this week’s episode.
The show averaged 222,000 viewers on Pop TV, which is a three-percent drop from last week’s 229,000. This is the second week in a row that viewership has been down. Before that, Impact had rebounded for five straight weeks after drawing 168,000 viewers on August 9.
The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.06, up from last week’s 0.05.
This was the second episode from Impact’s television tapings in Mexico City. Moose & Killer Kross faced Johnny Impact & Eddie Edwards in the main event, and Tessa Blanchard retained her Knockouts Championship against Faby Apache.
Ratings for Thursday Night Football were up significantly due to the St. Louis Rams vs. Minnesota Vikings game airing on Fox (in addition to the NFL Network), and premiere week continued elsewhere on network TV. It was also a big night for cable news shows after Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh’s testimonies from earlier in the day.
For a year-over-year comparison, the September 28, 2017 edition of Impact drew 264,000 viewers.
