Impact Wrestling TV taping results: New champions crowned

Here are results from the second night of Impact tapings at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. They will also be taping tomorrow and Thursday. Thanks to Jacob Cohen for results and notes:

– Xplosion: Fallah Bahh defeated Rohit Raju

– Austin Aries defeated Pentagon Jr. to win the Impact world title

At first, the match ended in a double countout. Aries wanted the match restarted, but then it ended in another double countout.  Pentagon Jr. restarted the match again, which ends up with Aries defeating Pentagon to win the Impact World title.

– El Hijo Del Fantasma defeated Drago, Aerostar and Taiji Ishimori in a four way match.

– Z&E (DJZ and Andrew Everett) defeat LAX

– Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan went to a no contest

The match had no conclusion, as Tessa Blanchard came out and laid out Hogan.

– Kongo Kong defeated Grado.

Katrina (formerly Katie Lea Burchill/Winter), who accompanied Grado to the ring, left him after the match. Kong and Jimmy Jacobs beat down Grado until Moose made the save.

– Su Yung defeated Allie in a Last Rights match (casket match) to win the Knockouts title

– oVe vs. Drago and Aerostar went to a no contest

 Eddie Edwards came out during the match and attacked all three members of oVe, including Sami Callihan who was at ringside. Edwards choked out Callihan with a kendo stick. Edwards’ wife came out and told him enough and that it’s over. Edwards responded by destroying the security guards with the kendo stick.

– Cult of Lee defeated LAX.

– Z&E defeated Eli Drake and Scott Steiner to in the Impact tag team titles.

– Grado (again with Katrina) defeated Rohit Raju

– Tessa Blanchard defeated Kiera Hogan.

Blanchard attacked Hogan after the match. Madison Rayne, who was on commentary, came out for the save.

– Pentagon Jr. & El Hijo Del Fantasma defeated Austin Aries and Matt Sydal.

Despite losing the title earlier in the show, Pentagon Jr. was still billed as Impact champion.
