Impact Wrestling ratings up on Thanksgiving night

Despite airing on Thanksgiving night, last week’s Impact drew the promotion’s second-best viewership number since changing time slots.
The Thanksgiving 2018 edition of Impact averaged 124,000 viewers on Pop TV, up from the previous week’s 101,000. The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.03, which was up from a 0.01.
The episode was almost entirely built around Eli Drake’s Second Annual Gravy Train Turkey Trot. Team Fallah Bahh (Fallah Bahh, KM, Dezmond Xavier, Kikutaro & Alisha Edwards) defeated Team Eli Drake (Eli Drake, Jake Crist, Rohit Raju, Katarina & Glenn Gilbertti), with Gilbertti (Disco Inferno) having to put on a turkey suit after being pinned by Bahh.
In the weeks since moving to 10 p.m. Eastern time, the viewership numbers for Impact have been: 98,000, 105,000, 129,000, 101,000, and 124,000.
NFL ratings were strong on Thanksgiving night, with the New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons game averaging 21.727 million viewers on NBC.
Last year’s Thanksgiving edition of Impact averaged 169,000 viewers in the old time slot. The Thanksgiving episode in 2016 averaged 165,000.
