Impact Wrestling Friday TV taping results: Update on World title situation; returning stars

Thursday’s Impact Wrestling title change between Alberto El Patron and Bobby Lashley evidently was reversed as at Friday’s tapings, Lashley was champion once again.

Before the tapings began, when Jeremy Borash was warming up the audience, he said Patron didn’t want to win the title the way he did so the title was vacant. However during the tapings, Lashley came out with the belt and was announced as the champion.

Some quick hit results thanks to JR Impact Asylum:

– ODB returned to defeat Rebel

– The Suicide character returned in a four way with Andrew Everett, Braxton Sutter, and Trevor Lee which Lee won.

– The tag titles are vacant and will be on the line with four teams involved: Abyss & Crazzy Steve, LAX (the New York indie team of EYFBO is in with Homicide as LAX managed by Konnan), Reno Scum (billed as GFW tag team champions, Luster the Legend & Adam Thornstowe, a West Coast team) and Garza Jr. & Laredo Kid.

– Davey Richards defeated Suicide
