Impact Wrestling falls below 200,000 viewers this week

Impact Wrestling fell below 200,000 viewers for last night’s episode.

The show averaged 190,000 viewers on Pop TV, down from last Thursday’s 222,000. This is the second-lowest number that Impact has drawn in 2018, only ahead of the episode that averaged 168,000 viewers on August 9.

The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.05, which is down from last week’s 0.06.

This was the third episode from Impact’s television tapings in Mexico City. It featured a Lucha Bros & Brian Cage vs. oVe main event that ended in a disqualification and a promo segment with Austin Aries and Johnny Impact that continued the build to their World Championship match at Bound for Glory.

Next week’s Impact is the go-home show for Bound for Glory.

Thursday Night Football again aired on both Fox and the NFL Network this week, bringing in 16 million viewers in total. The Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers baseball playoff game that aired on the MLB Network averaged 2.123 million viewers opposite Impact.

For a year-over-year comparison, the October 5, 2017 edition of Impact drew 251,000 viewers.
