Impact Slammiversary notes: Eric Young earns World title shot, Queen of the Mountain

The main event of June’s Slammiversary is confirmed as Eric Young will face Impact World Champion Josh Alexander after winning Thursday’s Gauntlet for the Gold match.
The multi-person match came down to Young and Chris Sabin, who was the first entrant. Sabin wore down and was pinned by Young following a piledriver.
Young is a former two-time Impact World Champion with his last run ending in 2020 after just 53 days.
That wasn’t all the news regarding June 19th’s pay-per-view in Nashville, Tennessee.

Gail Kim announced that with this year being the 20th anniversary for Impact, the PPV will see the first-ever Queen of the Mountain match as Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz will defend the title against Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Deonna Purrazzo and newcomer Mia Yim.
