Impact notes: Purrazzo arrives, four matches set for next week

– Deonna Purrazzo arrived in Impact Wrestling and confronted the Knockouts Champion after the main event of this week’s Impact.
In last night’s main event, Jordynne Grace submitted Taya Valkyrie to retain the Knockouts Championship. Purrazzo then came down to the ring and went face-to-face with Grace. She offered Grace a handshake but then turned it into a Fujiwara armbar when Grace accepted.
Purrazzo then put Grace’s title belt in the middle of the ring and posed over it.
Grace has been Knockouts Champion since winning the title from Valkyrie at a set of television tapings in January.
Impact started to hype Purrazzo’s debut via a video that aired two weeks ago. She was part of April’s WWE/NXT releases.
– Two title matches will air on next week’s episode of Impact. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) will challenge The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) for the Impact Tag Team titles, while Moose will defend his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Hernandez.
The Rascalz became the number one contenders to The North’s titles by defeating TJP & Fallah Bahh in a number one contender’s match last week.
Moose has been calling himself TNA World Heavyweight Champion since bringing the title belt back at Rebellion in April.
Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards in a street fight and Rohit Raju vs. Rhino are also set for next Tuesday’s Impact.
Austin, Edwards, Michael Elgin, and Trey Miguel are challenging for Tessa Blanchard’s Impact World Championship in a five-way match at Slammiversary on Saturday, July 18.
