Impact notes: 2023 first quarter schedule, new matches for Thursday

On Tuesday, Impact Wrestling officially announced their schedule for the first quarter of 2023 that include dates and locations for two streaming specials and various TV tapings.

January

January will feature the previously-announced Hard to Kill pay-per-view on Friday, January 13th followed by a TV taping on Saturday, January 14th — both in Atlanta, Georgia. The week after, they will hold TV tapings on Friday, January 20th and Saturday, January 21st in Kissimmee, Florida.

February

No Surrender will air on Impact Plus on Friday, February 24th in Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by two days of TV tapings on Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th.

March

Their annual Sacrifice streaming special on Impact Plus will head to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on Friday, March 24th, followed by a TV taping on Saturday, March 25th. It will be their first event in Canada since 2019.

Johnny Swinger noted on Tommy Dreamer’s podcast that he signed a new deal with Impact that will see the 47-year-old remain in the company through 2023. Swinger is active on the indies in addition to Impact.

Joe Hendry will look to remain undefeated in singles competition upon his return to Impact as he faces Raj Singh on Thursday’s show. 

The match joins the previously announced trios match featuring Gisele Shaw & VXT vs. Jordynne Grace, Mickie James & Taylor Wilde in addition to two X-Division title tournament opening around matches: Black Taurus vs. Laredo Kid and Alan Angels vs. Trey Miguel.
