Frankie Kazarian signs new contract with TNA Wrestling

Frankie Kazarian is sticking around in TNA Wrestling.

While speaking with PWInsider in advance of tonight’s live episode of TNA Impact, Kazarian announced that he has signed a new contract with the promotion. His previous deal had been announced in January 2023 after Kazarian was granted his release from AEW and returned to TNA.

“I feel great continuing my relationship with this company,” Kazarian told PWInsider. “In January 2023, I bet on myself. I made the choice to come back here because you can’t tell the story of Frankie Kazarian without TNA. Since then, I’ve seen this company grow exponentially. Now, we’re about to do our first live television broadcast in eight years. It’s an exciting time to be here, and there’s a lot of positive momentum.”

Kazarian’s history with TNA dates back to the early 2000s. He’s won the X-Division title several times and had multiple Tag Team title reigns, but Kazarian has never been TNA World Champion. That is one goal he is still hoping to accomplish. Kazarian won TNA’s Call Your Shot gauntlet match last October and is able to cash the trophy in for a title shot whenever he wants it.

Joe Hendry won the TNA World Championship from Nic Nemeth in the main event of Genesis this past Sunday. Kazarian wanted to cash in his trophy during that match but was laid out by JBL before he could.

The Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas is the venue for tonight’s Impact. It’s been announced that we’ll hear from Hendry on the episode. We’ll see if Kazarian gets involved in that segment.
