Flamita replacing Yamato at Impact United We Stand
Rich Swann has a new challenger for Impact Wrestling’s WrestleMania week show.
Impact has announced that Swann will now defend his X-Division Championship against Flamita at United We Stand. The show is taking place at the Rahway Recreation Center this Thursday. It’s airing as an iPPV on Fite TV and will begin at 11 p.m. Eastern time.
Swann defending the X-Division title against Dragon Gate’s Yamato was originally announced for United We Stand. Yamato was supposed to be one of Dragon Gate’s wrestlers taking part in WrestleCon, but WrestleCon announced last Friday that Dragon Gate talent wouldn’t be able to appear due to visa issues.
With King Cuerno (El Hijo del Fantasma) getting his release from Lucha Underground, the Team Impact vs. Team Lucha Underground match at United We Stand is now advertised as Brian Cage, Moose & Eddie Edwards vs. Aerostar, Drago, Daga & Marty the Moth. Johnny Impact was announced as a member of Team Impact at first, but there was a storyline where he said he didn’t want to team with Cage and was going to be in the Ultimate X match at United We Stand instead.
Johnny Impact will defend his World title against Cage at Impact’s Rebellion pay-per-view in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Sunday, April 28.

- Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie defending against Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, and Katie Forbes in a fatal four-way match
- X-Division Champion Rich Swann defending against Flamita
- Sami Callihan vs. Jimmy Havoc in a Monster’s Ball match
