Champions Challenge set for next TNA Impact

With Slammiversary on the horizon, next week’s TNA Impact features a Champions Challenge match that could provide clarity as to the upcoming pay-per-view card.

The Thursday, June 19 Impact will feature a Champions Challenge bout with World Champion Trick Williams, X-Division Champion Moose, Tag Team Champions Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth, and International Champion Steve Maclin facing a team of potential title challengers in Joe Hendry, Elijah, Mike Santana, and Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz.

Only X-Division Champion Moose currently has a title defense scheduled for Slammiversary against Leon Slater, with the World, Tag Team, and International title pictures still cloudy.

In a grudge match set up during this week’s episode, Eric Young and Sami Callihan will also do battle on next week’s Impact.

Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich learned on this week’s show that she will defend her title against former tag partner Killer Kelly at a date yet to be announced, but on next week’s Impact, Slamovich teams with Lei Ying Lee against Ash and Heather by Elegance.

Order 4’s Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler will hold a summit on next week’s episode to discuss their recent struggles.
