Battle royal with Bound for Glory implications set for Impact

A few announcements have been made for this week’s edition of Impact Wrestling.

This Thursday’s Impact will feature a 20-person battle royal with Bound for Glory implications. The winner of the battle royal will enter the Call Your Shot gauntlet match at Bound for Glory last, while the last person who is eliminated from the battle royal will enter the gauntlet match at number one.

The Call Your Shot gauntlet will have 20 entrants, with Rich Swann, Brian Myers, Moose, and W. Morrissey having already been confirmed. Here are the rules for the match:

The high-stakes Call Your Shot Gauntlet returns at Bound For Glory. This unique matchup begins with two competitors and more will join the fray after a time interval. As the ring fills up, eliminations can occur at any time by throwing your opponent over the top rope. This process will continue until there are only two competitors remaining, which is when it transforms into a singles match that can only be won by pinfall or submission. Whoever scores the victory will earn a future title shot of their choosing, anyplace, anytime.

Bound for Glory is taking place at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, October 23. The build to the pay-per-view will continue with Impact World Champion Christian Cage and his Bound for Glory challenger Josh Alexander sitting down for a summit on this Thursday’s Impact.

It’s also been announced that Chris Bey vs. Chris Sabin will take place on Thursday’s Impact.
