Khabib Nurmagomedov could be off of UFC 187 with knee injury
Khabib Nurmagomedov suffered a knee injury in training and could be forced to pull out of his No. 1 contender fight with Donald Cerrone on 5/23 in Las Vegas.
Nurmagomedov will be seeing a doctor in the morning to determine the extent of the knee damage.
Nurmagomedov was coming off major knee surgery for a torn ACL that had kept him out of action since last April. Nurmagomedov, who has a 22-0 record, defeated current champion Rafael dos Anjos in his last fight via straight 30-27 scores.
