Over three years after the Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar saga started, it ended pretty anticlimactically.

  • Tomorrow’s Raw is taking place in Columbus, Ohio after a brutal week of travel for the show’s roster. They were in Rochester, New York for a house show last Sunday, Toronto for last week’s Raw, London, England for a house show on Wednesday, and concluded the week with house shows in Osaka, Japan on Friday and Shanghai, China on Saturday before flying home for TV. The Bellas vs. The Riott Squad, The B-Team defending their Tag Team titles against The Revival, and Shawn Michaels making an appearance to promote Triple H vs. The Undertaker at WWE Super Show-Down are advertised for Raw.
  • Ronda Rousey, Natalya, Sasha Banks & Bayley teamed together in a match where they defeated Alexa Bliss, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan at yesterday’s show in China.
  • John Cena tweeted after returning to the ring in China: “What a wonderful night in [China] @WWE @WWEUniverse thank you so so much for allowing to perform at #WWEShanghai already back at @EyeOfJackieChan set for more [filming] Thank you #JCStuntTeam for teaching me the art of Ba ji quan! #TheDoomiest.” Cena has been in China filming the movie “Project X,” which he stars in alongside Jackie Chan.
  • Xavier Woods wasn’t at last night’s SmackDown house show because he’s at Dragon Con in Atlanta. He cosplayed as Asuka while at the event.
  • Dustin Rhodes sent out two tweets congratulating Cody on winning the NWA title at All In: “Congratulations @CodyRhodes #NewNWAChamp #PopsIsSmilin and so is the world. So happy bout this night for @CodyRhodes !! Dream achieved! #KeepSteppin #NWAChamp #DustyRhodes3xChamp #CodyRhodes1xChamp ! Damnit man this is the coolest thing ever. The world is yours!!!”
  • Mickie James, who’s married to Nick Aldis, posted a picture of her and their son watching Aldis vs. Cody.
  • Kurt Angle answered a question on Facebook about what he feels his best accomplishment in WWE has been: “Proving to everyone that a ‘shooter’ or ‘real wrestler’ could be the best entertainer of his era. I was very proud of what I was able to accomplish, whether I was loved or hated.”
  • Starting on September 9, The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Sting, and Ted Dibiase will be making guest appearances over a four-week pro wrestling-themed sermon series for Fellowship Church. Three of them will be live for their interviews, while one of the weeks will be pre-recorded.
  • Naomi chose Melina as the opponent from past WWE women’s divisions that she’d most like to face at Evolution.
  • Sheamus tweeted a picture of Becky Lynch working out while wearing a shirt that said “I Boo The Woo.”
  • In a Twitter video, Drew Gulak continued his storyline with Cedric Alexander by insulting him and lobbying for a Cruiserweight title rematch.
  • TV Insider interviewed Mercedes Martinez about returning for this year’s Mae Young Classic.

Pro Wrestling

  • Nathan Kehner (former CZW wrestler Nate Hatred) passed away in a car accident yesterday. His family has started a Go Fund Me to help cover the costs of laying him to rest. CZW paid tribute to him on Twitter: “We would like to take a moment to send our condolences to the family & friends of Nate Hatred.  Thank you for all that you’ve done in being a huge part of building Combat Zone Wrestling. A true legend in CZW history.  #ThankYouNateHatred R.I.P.”
  • Cody Rhodes tweeted after All In last night: “Let’s not stop. Let’s keep going.” He then followed up on that today: “24 hours removed and I can’t stop smiling. One passion led to a new one. I hope it wasn’t my only night as an executive producer. Thanks Matt & Nick for producing it with me. You’re fearless and it was a fearless show.”
  • Matt Jackson called All In a “home run” and thanked the fans: “Thank you. Thank you so much. So proud. I hope you enjoyed the show.  #ALLIN” Nick Jackson also tweeted out a thank you to everyone.
  • Christopher Daniels praised Stephen Amell after their match at All In: “As he filmed his hit television show for 12-16 hours at a time, with literally hundreds of cast & crew depending on him for their livelihood,  @StephenAmell took every spare moment he had to train & study tape to prepare to wrestle me tonight. The @StephenAmell that stood before me tonight was not the Stephen Amell that tagged with Neville at S-Slam, he was more focused, more determined than many wrestlers I’ve battled with 20 times the experience.   • Bully Ray compared the atmosphere of All In to WWE’s ECW One Night Stand: The biggest compliment I can pay to #ALLIN is…I haven’t seen wrestlers and fans have that much passion, energy and FUN since ECW ONS. Myself included.”
  • Tom Lawlor faced Jake Hager (the former Jack Swagger) in the main event of this week’s MLW Fusion TV episode.
  • Game Changer Wrestling announced that they’ll be holding a show in Los Angeles on November 16. That’s the Friday of Survivor Series weekend in LA.
