WWE
- AEW’s Ric Flair had high praise for The Rock following the Rock Concert segment that took place on last night’s SmackDown: “My Friend @TheRock, You Are The Most Entertaining Motherf*cker In The Entire History Of The Wrestling Business And I’ve Seen Them All, Including Myself, But I Pale In Comparison! I’m So Thankful For Our Friendship & Respect. God Bless You! You Are The F*cking Man! WOOOOO!”
- The full Rock Concert segment can be watched here. It currently has 1.4 million views on YouTube.
- In an interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Damian Priest revealed that he was the person who got everyone to boo Dominik Mysterio at Dominik’s wedding reception. Priest said about the wedding:
- It was beautiful, man. I was honored to be a part of the wedding, to just attend the wedding and we had such a good time. Then obviously, you know, busting his chops and there was a moment when they did say he’s gonna say a few words. I remember I just turned to my table and I was like, ‘We got to do it. We’re doing it. right,’ and I just turned back around and I did it. Then my table followed in and I was like, ‘Okay, that was nice.’ Then he went to speak again and the entire wedding party, like, everybody did it, and then I really laughed and he just gave me a look. That was a good one. But man, the whole thing was, what a good day for him and his wife. So that was a special night. Like I said, I was just honored to be there.
- Zelina Vega told SEScoops that her dream scenario for WrestleMania would be teaming with Rey Mysterio:
- I know what I would want for WrestleMania. In my head, and maybe clip this because I feel like if this ends up happening, I said it here first. I would love to have a match at WrestleMania with me and Rey [Mysterio] and Carlito and Joaquin [Wilde] and Cruz [Del Toro] against Santos [Escobar], Elektra [Lopez] and whoever other goons he wants to add to the [mix].
- That match would be incredible, even if it’s just me and Rey against goon #1 and goon #2. I think it’d be really cool to just be able to say, ‘Man I was on WrestleMania with Rey Mysterio.’ That’s my hero, that’d be crazy. That’s what I would want.
- UFC fighter Tai Tuivasa spoke to Sports Illustrated about attending last month’s WWE Elimination Chamber event in his home country of Australia:
- To watch it live, they’re crazy athletes and they put on a tremendous show. I grew up a fan – Rock, Rikishi, Booker T, Mankind, those were my favorites. I used to go really hard with it when I was young. My little brother and son are big fans now, so I took them. UFC and WWE are together now, so it all fell into place.
- The New York Post published a story on Becky Lynch.
- Lynch said she’d approve of her daughter Roux becoming a wrestler one day:
- It’s one of those things where I think the knee jerk reaction is to go, ‘Oh no. ‘ And then I go, ‘Why wouldn’t I?’ It’s afforded me the greatest life I could have ever imagined, my amazing husband, my beautiful daughter, and a world of possibilities.
- While speaking with TV Insider about his upcoming Biography: WWE Legends documentary, Diamond Dallas Page discussed maintaining a great friendship with his ex-wife Kimberly:
- It was really cool because Kimberly – I just literally brought her on to be COO of my company. She has always been a partner, but I wanted her to come in to bring her expertise. She was a big COO of a building company. When you’re building homes, it’s nice, but it’s not like what we’re doing. She was getting more involved over the years, I was like, ‘Why don’t you just come in?’ Let’s take this to the next level. There is a picture of me, and my wife Payge. Yes, my wife’s name is Payge. Her maiden name is McMahon. When Chris Jericho heard that, he spit the water out of his mouth, laughing so hard. There is a picture of Payge and Kimberly at our wedding, and they are both crying. My wife is thanking Kim for raising me. Having Kim involved in the doc was super cool.

AEW/Other Wrestling
- AEW is returning to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville for Dynamite on Wednesday, April 24 and Collision on Saturday, April 27.
- Kyle O’Reilly spoke about returning to the ring ahead of his comeback match against Bryan Keith on Collision tonight.
- During his appearance on Gabby AF, Chris Jericho said he thinks it’s only a matter of time until Swerve Strickland is AEW World Champion:
- I’m a huge fan of Swerve. I think eventually he’ll be our world champion. I mean, it’s just a matter of time at this point. He’s got the cool factor. He’s new. He’s fresh. He can talk. He looks great. I mean, he’s a guy that can be a crossover super-super star, which is I think exactly what AEW needs to go to the next level, someone like Swerve or someone like Will Ospreay that people don’t really know, that have the look, they have the uniqueness, they have the charisma, and once again, I’m not just talking about inside the ring. I’m talking about outside the ring because that’s what wrestling is. You become a mainstream star and you build the company. Look at all the guys that have done multiple things and get out of the wrestling bubble into the mainstream world that just makes your company stronger. It makes you a bigger star and makes your company bigger.
- Bryan Keith was the guest on AEW Unrestricted this week.
- A special singles match between Yoshinobu Kanemaru and YOH will take place on the undercard for the New Japan Cup finals on Wednesday (March 20).
- Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that, due to injury, Kaito Kiyomiya will not be wrestling at their show in Yokohama on Sunday: “Kaito Kiyomiya will be absent from the Yokohama Budokan event on March 17th due to a spinal cord concussion sustained during practice. Thank you for your understanding.”
- The new main event of NOAH’s show in Yokohama is Jack Morris & Anthony Greene defending their GHC Tag Team titles against Saxon Huxley & Timothy Thatcher.
