Smackdown tonight features Edge cutting a promo about his match with Roman Reigns plus Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn in a last man standing match as a Money in the Bank qualifier. 205 Live has Guru Raaj vs. Andre Chase (Harlem Bravado) and Joe Gacy vs. Desmond Troy.
New Japan Strong at 10 p.m. on New Japan World tonight:

Stardom has a PPV on Sunday morning at 4 a.m. Eastern in English with Utami Hayashishita vs. Natsuko Tora for the World of Stardom title, Tam Nakano vs. Saya Kamitani for the Wonder of Stardom title and Giulia & Syuri defend the tag titles against Mayu Iwatani & Koguma. Tonight’s Arena Mexico main event is Caristico & Volador Jr. & Titan vs. Ultimo Guerrero & Gran Guerrero & Templario. Sunday is headlined by a father & son tag battle with Atlantis & Atlantis Jr. vs. Panterita del Ring & Panterita del Ring Jr.
AAA Verano de Escandalo takes place tomorrow and little is known about it. There will be a flyers tournament, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lady Shani in a non-title match, Mr. Iguana & Maximo vs. Arez & Chik Tormenta vs.; Flamer & Abismo Negro Jr wit the winer getting a shot at the mixed tag title, Laredo Kid & Faby Apache & Nino Hamburguesa vs. Mocho Cota Jr. & Carta Brava Jr. & Tito Santana, and the Psycho Circus is back together in the main event against Rey Escorpion & El Texano Jr & Taurus.
Fast 9 has topped the $100 million mark.
WWE

- Rob Font will face no sanctions for a positive drug test. USADA recognized that chlorphenesin, a cosmetic preservative, was common to trigger a positive test for what he tested positive for. Font is the No. 3 contender at bantamweight after beating Marlon Moraes.
- Diego Ferreira vs. Grant Dawson is scheduled for the 10/2 show.
AEW
- Wednesday’s show did 94,900 viewers and 63,200 in 25-54 on TSN 2 in Canada. The total viewers is usual but the demo number is very good. (thanks to John Pollock)
- DAZN interviewed Arn Anderson about his podcast and his departure from WWE.
