  • Daniel Bryan responded to Cesaro’s complaints about not being on the poster for WWE’s shows in Switzerland: “If you were on #TeamBlue you’d be on every poster… just saying #BlueIsBetter”.
  • Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Kenny Dykstra was fired from his day job for missing work. The Spirit Squad hasn’t been signed to WWE contracts.
  • Tales of Andre the Giant were spoken of by Ric Flair, specifically Andre needing to drink 106 beers to get drunk.
  • WWE uploaded Team Hell No & Ryback vs. The Shield from TLC 2012 for free on their YouTube account.
  • WWE looks at the top 10 times wrestlers have been smashed through ladders.

PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING

  • Cody Rhodes won Global Force Wrestling’s Nex*Gen Championship at WrestleCade in Winston-Salem, North Carolina last night.
  • PROGRESS Wrestling will crown a new champion tomorrow at their show at the Electric Ballroom in London. Mark Haskins was previously forced to vacate the title due to injury, and the show will feature matches with the winners advancing to a multi-man main event to determine the new champion. Will Ospreay vs. the debuting Matt Riddle and Marty Scurll vs. Jimmy Havoc highlight the announced matches for the show.

UFC

  • After Daniel Cormier was forced out of UFC 206 due to injury, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson tweeted, “I wish nothing but the best for DC and I hope you have a full recovery champ…” And Cormier replied, “left a message for you on ur phone. I apologize. We Will get to rock and roll bruh. Once again my apologies. DC”.
  • Tim Kennedy tweeted that he offered to step in and fight Johnson.
