- Ozzy Osbourne starred in the opening video for tonight’s PPV.
- On Instagram, Paul Heyman wrote about his WarGames history:
- With experience comes wisdom. 30 years ago, I devised a strategy that enabled @steveaustinbsr #RickRude @thearnshowpod #larryzybysko #bobbyeaton and @madusa_rocks to deliver performances that defined the #WarGames!
- In the Games of War, I am both pioneer and the pontiff of progression. I’m a hack for victory. I’m a living, breathing cheat code.
- When it comes to the #WarGames, I am… indeed… the #Wiseman.
- Mia Yim told CBS Sports that she considered retiring after being released by WWE last year:
- Wrestling took a backseat and it made me realize that wrestling isn’t everything, life still goes on and to focus on the people you love. I really had to evaluate if I wanted to continue to wrestle because I wasn’t sure that I did.
- Not only was I not sure if I wanted to do it, but I felt like maybe my time was up. Maybe I’m not as good as I was five or 10 years ago, so maybe it was just time to hang it up. I just needed to find myself and see if I could still go with all these new talents.
- BT Sport has interviews with Finn Balor and Alexa Bliss.
- Balor was asked when he thought things started to click for The Judgment Day: “Clash at the Castle. The build up to that match, especially, but when we were all laughing at Rey having just gotten kicked in the balls by his son.”

- Ricky Steamboat spoke to Sports Illustrated about returning to the ring for Big Time Wrestling tomorrow: “I think I can still entertain the crowd. I’m wrestling with some great workers and I’m teaming with FTR, who are phenomenal. I keep telling myself, ‘Don’t be stupid, Steamboat.’ I’m going to be smart about this. My goal is to sprinkle in some ‘Ricky Steamboat dust’ throughout the match. If I can do that, I’ll be happy.”
- Masha Slamovich has been announced as the third entrant for PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2023, joining Michael Oku and Shun Skywalker. The tournament is taking place on Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8.
