WWE

  • WWE tweeted last night: “WWE supports the humanitarian work of the Red Cross in Ukraine and surrounding countries.”
  • Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre are featured on WWE’s advertising for June’s Hell in a Cell PPV. The event is being held at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on Sunday, June 5.
  • Forbes released a preview clip of the “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan episode of WWE Evil. All eight episodes of the series will premiere on Peacock tomorrow.
  • Sasha Banks surprised a fan named Vincent who has Down’s syndrome by calling him on the phone.
  • Paige wrote on Twitter today: “It’s wild that some people are like ‘well edge and Bryan came back you are just lazy’ I’m inspired by them. I’m not lazy. My neck needs to recover. We are all built different. Sorry fam.”
  • Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, and Diamond Dallas Page were guests on WWE’s The Bump this morning.
  • Trish Stratus and Riddle will be on The Bump next Wednesday.
  • WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded Paige & AJ Lee vs. The Bella Twins from WrestleMania 31, the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar segment from Raw’s WrestleMania 31 go-home show, and AJ Styles & Omos vs. RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team titles from SummerSlam 2021.

  • A press release was sent out officially announcing that Supercard of Honor will be available live on HonorClub, pay-per-view, and Fite TV on Friday, April 1. The main card starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and there will be a one-hour pre-show on YouTube.
  • Khan also discussed Supercard of Honor during his appearance on Busted Open Radio this morning.
  • AEW announced its updated roster rankings.
  • AEW’s Britt Baker, Adam Cole, and Christian Cage have been announced for appearances at this year’s WrestleCon convention. The appearances are sponsored by Prime Time Appearances.
  • On MMA Fighting’s The Fighter vs. The Writer, Paige VanZant said she knows that she’ll never return to the UFC: “Of course, I love the UFC. I love the organization. There’s a reason they are as successful as they are. There’s a reason they were able to get to this level. They have a well-oiled machine and they’re very, very good at it. But I know in my heart that I will never fight for them again, just because they don’t pay enough. I don’t see the benefit of going back to the UFC. Right now, I’m fortunate enough, I built myself up to a specific place and I can take that and use it wherever I go.”
  • Konnan thanked AEW and Impact Wrestling for helping Lucha Libre AAA with Triplemania XXX.
  • Steve Maclin will face Heath on tomorrow’s Impact.
  • ACH vs. Nick Wayne has been added to GCW Paranoid in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 9.
  • Biff Busick vs. Masha Slamovich is set for GCW Devil in a New Dress in San Francisco on Sunday, April 10.
  • Joey Janela will face “Speedball” Mike Bailey at GCW’s In Too Deep show in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, April 30.
  • During an appearance on The Angle Podcast, Briana Brandy (formerly known as B-Fab) said she’d be open to returning to WWE if the opportunity arose: “I would be open to going back. For me, business is business, it is what it is. There’s nothing you can do about big companies and the decisions that they make. So there’s no reason to have any ill-feeling.
