Cody Rhodes-Logan Paul contract signing set for next WWE SmackDown
Cody Rhodes & Logan Paul will make their King & Queen of the Ring bout official on next Friday’s WWE SmackDown with a contract signing.
Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, and Paul, the WWE United States Champion, will square off in Saudi Arabia at King & Queen of the Ring on Saturday, May 25 as announced during this week’s SmackDown. The contract signing for that bout will take place on the Friday, May 17 SmackDown episode.
Four King & Queen of the Ring quarterfinals bouts are also set for next week’s show.
In the quarterfinals in the King of the Ring tournament, Tama Tonga will face the winner of this weekend’s LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar bout next week, plus Randy Orton will take on Carmelo Hayes in the other quarterfinal on the SmackDown side of the bracket.
In the Queen of the Ring quarterfinals SmackDown bracket, Nia Jax will face Jade Cargill, plus Bianca Belair will take on the winner of this weekend’s Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin match on next Friday’s SmackDown.
