Christopher Daniels announced for NJPW Strong Nemesis

“The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels has been announced for NJPW Strong’s Nemesis taping on Thursday, December 9 in Los Angeles, California.

An appearance by Daniels was teased during Monday’s Strong Detonation tapings in Riverside, California, and NJPW made it official today.

In a post-match promo after teaming with Hikuleo to defeat Alex Zayne and Yuya Uemura in Riverside, Jay White issued a challenge to Daniels. White vs. Daniels has not officially been announced, but appears to be the direction.

Daniels is AEW’s head of talent relations. He and SCU partner Frankie Kazarian lost an AEW World Tag Team title match to The Young Bucks on the May 12 Dynamite this year, with the stipulation that Daniels and Kazarian could not team together again if they lost.

Daniels has wrestled just a handful of matches since, including two bouts for Defy, one for Impact Wrestling, and a series of matches filmed on this year’s Chris Jericho cruise, but has not wrestled on AEW television since losing the Tag title match.

Tickets for Nemesis went on sale today. The event will be held at The Vermont Hollywood venue in Los Angeles.
